We are seeking for Reliability/ Instrumentation & Control engineer, to join. With extensive safety, integrity, reliability and quality management experience with refinery, chemical and metal process industries, Automation OEMs and R&D projects. In-depth knowledge and understanding of field instruments, DCSs, PLCs; and strong exposure in EPC project management, comprehensive maintenance of plant SIS, project management methodologies. Demonstrated ability to manage teams, process & performance to achieve defined objectives while adhering to engineering standards. Knowledgeable in Reliability Methodologies (RCA, RBI, RCM) and the Statistical Reliability Methods. Knowledge of asset creation, asset criticality ranking, failure codes, CMMs.
Minimum Requirements
As a successful candidate, you should hold a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, Reliability engineer background is preferred.
You must have minimum (10 – 17) years of experience, preferably in the oil, gas, or similar process industry. Aluminum – Smelter industry is preferred.

You should hold valid internationally recognized professional certifications such as Certified Functional Safety Engineer (CFSE).
Duties and Responsibilities
Excellent knowledge of process control instrumentation and automation techniques & products, and hands on experience in testing (FAT/SAT) and functional integration of DCSs & PLCs, HAZOP analysis, Technical Safety Studies, technical audits, etc.
Hands on experience in Reliability program management for Safety Instrumentation System (SIS) of large industrial corporations
Possess’ ability and hands on experience in project management of implementing advance process control solutions such as APC/ EMS/ CPMS/ Alarm Management/ Asset Management, from conceptual design to handover for large chemical complex
Capable of reviewing and amending FEED and detailed technical submittals of I&C construction packages for Brownfield projects
OEM experience with one of the leading automation technology companies (Invensys) dealing in process automation systems (DCS, PLCs, etc.), having been involved in customer project and maintenance technical services including training
Identification and Oracle implementation of failure mode/ error code
Optimization of PM stratagy based on RAM/ RCM analysis
Failure analysis based on SOE recorder and automation history
SIL Assessment of safety interlocks and permissive interlocks
Preparation of risk register based on SIL assessment
Preparation of Standard Work Instruction (SWI) for proof testing
Functional safety management for machines according to IEC62061
Develop and maintain a model that identifies the unit operations, equipment, process and value of opportunities for improvement.
Evaluate and quantify the impact projects such as equipment reconfigurations, design changes, equipment quality, etc., to enable to meet customer needs.
Utilize asset and analyze cost data to develop and prioritize a list of reliability opportunities.
Evaluate/validate the impact of corrective actions that impact availability/reliability and leverage solutions across a business or site, if appropriate
Automate / develop reliability reports to benchmark existing equipment performance.
Develops engineering solutions to repetitive failures and all other problems that adversely affect plant operations. These problems include capacity, quality, cost or regulatory compliance issues. To fulfill this responsibility, the reliability engineer applies:

7) Failure reporting, analysis and corrective action system
Provides technical support to production maintenance and technical personnel
Be the focal point of contact, responsible for any critical or major equipment trouble shooting or failure analysis.
Conduct meetings and collect all information necessary (process, vibration, assembly, etc.) to complete investigations.
Review and update maintenance strategy annually to optimize equipment maintenance tasks
Investigate trips on critical equipment to identify root causes and recommend solutions.
